Every time I open iTunes tonight on the Mac, it asks for my password, then after I enter it I get an unknown error message. My apple ID is correct without my entering but repeated tries fail.
I hit cancel (takes two times) and iTunes opens and lets me sync. I do NOT use the cloud for any functions.
The password is correct as it let me get into the Apple forum with no error. I can also go into iTunes on my iPad and it does not ask for a password.
I have not tried the forgot password option yet as I don't want to possibly create further problems.
the problem seems to have corrected itself. Must have been an Apple problem.
