my iphone wont download music that i purchased from my library

I have all my purchased songs in my itunes library on the computer but they wont go onto my phone even if its connected.

I right clicked a song and pressed > add to playlist > olivias iphone

but it still didnt work

help me someone?

You may want to review the process for syncing content in iTunes 11.
