Problem with login - Skydrive app

Hi,

I recently purchased a Macbook and downloaded/installed Skydrive.

The day after my Skydrive icon in dock was greyed out and I couldn´t access it.

I proceeded to uninstall the app (move to trash) and install it again.

Now I cannot move past the login window. It just keeps on loading. I´ve tried with other accounts.

The app continues to work well on my other Macs/comps (I also tried signing out on my other Mac and

signing back in. No problems).

Anyone had a similar problem? Deleted and reinstalled several times (also rebooted machine).

Any help is appreciated!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Thank you for your tip.

I have tried the keychain tip before without luck.

What worked in the end was this method provied at the microsoft forum:

"The problem may be caused by entries in your hosts file, starting with “crl.verisign.net” since those are preventing Verisign from renewing certificates needed by SkyDrive in order to run. The “hosts” file is under “/private/etc”.

A possible solution is to comment out those entries, using nano text editor. Please do the following:

  1. Open a Terminal window
  2. Run: sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
  3. Type password for sudo, nano text editor should launch and load hosts file
  4. Look for entries in the file matching “crl.verisign.net”
  5. Comment out those entries by adding a “#” at the beginning of the line
    For example:
    #127.0.0.1 crl.verisign.net
  6. Hit “ctrl + o” to save the file and press “return” to confirm
  7. Hit “ctrl + x” to exit nano"
