I would like to transfer my licence to him. How do I do this?

Hello. I have just sold Logic Studio 9 to someone, and I would like to transfer my licence to him. How do I do this? I can`t find information anywhere. Many thanks.

When I try to register the software, it doesn't recognize the serial number it tells me

We're sorry, but this serial number is either invalid or it is for Apple software or accessories. If you are trying to register Apple hardware other than an accessory, please check your information and try again.

So the buyer can't register him.

I don't understand

You don't register his serial... (Actually what you are doing is trying to register a piece of hardware via that link so that won't work)

Simply give him the valid serial number and let him register Logic himself, when he does the actual install from the DVDs.. when it will ask him for a valid Full version serial number...

Note: Did you buy Logic Studio 2 Full or Upgrade? (Logic Studio 2.0 is the boxed set containing Logic Pro 9)

If you bought the Logic Studio 2.0 (Logic Pro 9) upgrade version then you will also need to give him the serial number for your original Logic Studio 1.0 (Logic Pro 8) which he will need to enter first before entering the Logic Studio 2.0 (Logic Pro 9) upgrade serial..

Just to clarify...

Please note.. there isnt a product called Logic Studio 9.

What you appear to have purchased would be Logic Studio v2.0 ( or v2.1) which contains Logic Pro 9 on a DVD along with several other programs such as Waveburner... and content DVDs containing Apple Loops etc...

The App Store version is called Logic Pro (and currently is actually Logic Pro 9.1.8) and only consists of the Logic Pro App itself along with some additional content which can be downloaded for free later.

Anyhow, as I said.. Just uninstall all the Logic Studio apps from your computer and the buyer of your copy of Logic Studio can then install.. and use the serial number provided with Logic Studio to register it as part of the install process.

Important: Once installed, the buyer will then need to also update Logic Pro to the latest version if he is runnibg Mountain Lion.. because the original install version won't work with Mountain Lion for example...(and maybe Lion too.. can't remember for sure..)
