Ipod touch 2nd generation.
So how can I get movies/tv shows to work on here? Nothing works. I'm able to put movies on the ipod but everytime it tells me video cannot be played.

First of all, is it a compatible version?
Apple supports specific video formats, so make sure to convert those videos with that specific settings and try syncing.
