Cannot install HP printers after restore

I had to restore my MacBook Pro the other week, and since then I have been unable to install my printer at home, or the printer at my parents house. I have checked for updates, and none are currently avaliable.

Yet, when I try to install a printer I am told it will download and install the needed software and drivers from the server

But for both printers it never works, I just get the message that the software is not avaliable from the server

I have tried to download the installer for older versions of OS X, but I still ended up with this problem when it tried to add the print Que. Any help or Ideas would be greatly appriciated.
