when ever i open a logic project i get the spinning beach ball of death....

logic not responding when ever i open up a saved project. im running osx 10.8.3 with the logic 9.1.8. is any body having this issue? and how can i fix it?

Check out the "Troubleshooting Basics" support doc.

Deleting Logic's preference files might do the trick.

A little more information.

Are you using a MIDI keyboard controller or an audio interface (other than the Mac's built-in?)

Few questions:

Do you have the problem with any project you are saving, how about older ones that opened before?
How is your Logic launch setup? Does it open an empty project or a template *which is "previouslu saved project"?
Did you try to login to a different user?
