Can't access my twitter from settings?

Whenever I try to access my twitter account from the settings app, it keeps saying could not communicate with the server. Also, whenever I kill the app and reopen it, a lost password alert pops up and forces me to put in my password again. I have already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, and have tried to delete my account from the twitter iOS integration but whenever I try to do that it says that it could not communicate with the server. I am about to restore my phone and back it up. Any other options?
