imovie 11 crashed while importing and now it has trouble opening the import windows, have to go command-tab to bring up window, and doesn't show movies to download from camera the windows is black. also if i eject the the camera drive it will crash imovie and generate a report. have logged in a guset and imovie works file.

Got it sorted, i found the app i was looking for, it is houdini.app which shows all files, go to your profile name, library,application support, imovie, in that folder you will see capturehistory.db. I deleted both files in the folder and every thing works as it should. i believe one of these files was corrupted and the other a new file that did work for some reason or an other. one was renamed and had journaled added.
