how do you add a voice tag to a contact

Hello there.

I am waiting for a very long time, hoping that Apple will one day add Voice Tags option into the Contacts. In fact, having the option to record a voice tag by my own voice, accent and rhythm of the speech is superior to predefined options offered by Siri. Voice tag option feature was available in my old Ericsson before 2001 and it always worked flawlessly, with or without internet connection. I find ridiculous and irritating that advanced Apple OS ignores this option and pushes people using Siri instead. Siri heavily depends on internet connection. I drive a lot and if I need to call from my car I use headset to control Siri to make a call. As soon as I don't have internet, I cannot use Siri. Moreover, I am not native English speaker so Siri cannot understand 50% of my requests (still, real people can...). 85% of my contact have non-english spelling and I need to translate those names to the language of Siri to help her to understand... Is this all necessary? What about people with speech impediments? Siri has difficulties to understand them too, which I don't think can improve. It would be much more convenient, reliable and pleasant to introduce this simple option having a Voice tag option. If Apple is afraid that it will lose Siri users, then make Siri better, but meanwhile help Apple users to drive more safely, and enjoy their OS in full. Apple, please, please hear us who like the OS, but are turning away from it because of this . Many thanks in advance.

Could you explain what you mean by "voice tag"? Do you mean you want to add some sort of audio note? That's not an option.

You don't need to add any sort of tags to call by voice. It's built into the system. Go to Settings>General>Siri and make sure it's set to On.

To use Siri, press and hold the Home button. When the microphone icon pops up and there is a beep, say, "Call <name from your contacts>"
