I am trying to update my IPAD to include !OS 5. I have followed the instructions but I do not have a "software button" under general settings.

If updating from iOS 4.3.x or earlier, you must update through iTunes.
Assuming you have an iOS version below 5 since you don't have the update button. You'll need to connect your iPad to a Computer running iTuines (Can be a Mac or a Pc doesn't matter) and follow the update prompts.
You'll probably want to back up the iPad before updating though.

I do not have a "software update" button on my IPAD and I am trying to download !OS 5.
