It might be out of the box, but install dropbox and save it to the cloud for now.

I found a way to make it work, and it's not complex at all to do

Just copy the file named : com.apple.Backup.plist, located into your "old" mac  "/Users/yourUser/Library/Preferences" directory, to the corresponding directory in your new mac.

It works for me on 10.8.5
