Q: iTunes match setup on my iPad but none of my music is on there

I have iTunes match setup on my iPad, everything is turned on and correct but none of my music from my macbook is on there. i have tried tones of stuff but nothing seems to work.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1.4
