Will a YubiKey work with the Lightning to USB adapter?

The adapters have no logic, it's the iPad that determines compatibility with devices. It it works, it works with one exception. Sometimes high-power draw devices must be connected to a powered hub to work.

The USB interface is the same, if t works in the CCK usb port, there's no reaosn it won't work in the Lightning to USB adapter. As its the same basic thing except its made for the new iPads, and iPhones.

If you can though, I would try it in the store first just to make completely sure its going to work.

It may/may not apply in this case, but there are a lot of articles out there touting all the things you can plug into the iPad. But most if not all of those are written pre 2011. A software update in 2011 reduced the amount of power allotted to the port that then rendered many of those items unworkable.
