How to reset my MacBook Air

Hi, selling my MacBook Air soon and need to format it to factory settings with lion on (which was on when I bought it) I have purchased mountain lion in the past

Any help would be great thanks

I have tried erasing it but then asks me for my apple I'd to install mountain lion which I don't want to do
