itunes will not open

itunes will not open

itunes will not open in windows. I was syncing iphone to laptop and clicked on update apps. itunes got stuck updating one app so I closed it down. Now it will not open. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are having issues launching iTunes, which may or may not be related to the issue you ran into while updating. First, I recommend looking over this article:

iTunes for Windows XP: Troubleshooting unexpected quits, freezes, or launch issues

If the above does not resolve your issue, the installation may have failed. I recommend we completely remove iTunes and all related components:

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
