My iPad is losing its charge very quickly

i used to be able to keep my iPad going for two days on one charge. Web browsing or checking email would only drop it 1 or 2 %. All of a sudden - with no apparent reason - the battery is draining like crazy. It will go down 15% in30 minutes when I'm not doing ANYTHING! I took it in to the Apple Store and they said the battery was fine. Has anyone else had this problem? It's an iPad 3 that I bought in January of this year. The battery worked great until a week or so ago.

iPad, iOS 6.1.4

The first thing can be to do like Diavonex suggests, turn all that stuff off. If that doesn't fix things, poke around in those newer apps. See if they have the ability to reach out and pull data, or if they update and run in the background. For example, if you have a stocks app, it could be updating every 30 minutes whether you want it to or not.

It's hard to give specific advice not knowing the apps or not having experience with the apps.
