In iTunes you can see exactly how much space (GB, MB etc.) that Audio, Video etc. uses, as well as capacity and free space. On the iPod Touch 4G you can only see number of songs, videos and photos, and the capacity and free space. Is there an app or an iOS update that lets you see more details on the capacity, e.g. the GB of audio on the iPod?

According to this article http://www.gumballtech.com/2010/11/27/enable-the-usage-menu-on-ipad-and-ipod-tou ch you can't get the Usage menu in Settings - General.
So iOS 4 can't view Usage but 6.1 can
I looked on the manual for iOS 6.1 and it says you can see the usage.

Yes I know I can update to 6.1.3, I originally wanted to update to 4.3.5 but is more complex than I thought. 6.1.3 also has almost 200mb larger than 4.3.5, but looks like 6.1.3 is the best option.
I've decided to go for the latest iOS 5 so I can support my apps and see the usage menu. I only have an 8GB model which is 6.5 actual capacity, with around 4.5GB video and 2GB music, so I need to save as much space as I can. 100mb may not seem like much but for me I can get around 30 more songs with that space.
