Q: how do i know if im getting a a facetime call when its happening ???

my friend tried to facetime me n she said i didnt answer so im just wondering how do i know if she is facetiming me when she is cause i just got an ipod 4g not to long ago

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3

A:

First, you need to configure your Face Time app. Then, typically, you will get a ringtone when someone is calling you (they should be in the FaceTime contacts list.) At least that's what happens on a computer.

yeah i asked her to facetime me again n nothing popped up and there was no ringtone so idk wats wrong with it lol

Make sure you have configured Facetime correctly, and that your friend is calling you at the email address you configured for the "You can Be Reached By Facetime at" option under Settings->Facetime.
