Sometimes Kingston RAM gives problems with iMacs, so I don't recommend you to buy this brand memory. Instead, you can buy OWC, Crucial or Samsung RAM, completely compatible with your iMac > http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2011/DDR3_21.5_27
Your iMac requires DDR3 1333 MHz memory, so have a look at memory with those specs. Other memory won't work with it

Jun 5, 2013 12:54 PM in response to tazcuazby rkaufmann87,I would strongly recommend AGAINST using Kingston RAM, it has a history of being incompatible with iMacs. What I would recommend is if you are in the US, use OWC (www.macsales.com) or Crucial. If you are outside the US then use Crucial.
Both are very reputable vendors that sell high quality products at competitive prices and provide excellent service.
