Hello, Jerrold. I am new to numbers and you seem like you have a lot of experience. I have read all the threads about deleting templates from numbers, and you seem to have all best answers. I have been trying to delete a template that I created in Numbers. I am using Numbers 3.22 and Maverick IOS but still having problems finding iWork. I went to Finder, Go and then pressed ALT/Option to open the Library. Once I got to Application Support, I could never find any iWork folder or Number folders. Can you tell me what I might be doing incorrectly. I appreciate this so much.

Hi Sonja,

You can't delete a built-in template. In Numbers 3.x, you can delete a template listed under My Templates in Template Chooser (your custom templates). As Naikosen has said, open the Template Chooser from within Numbers 3.x. Do this by Menu > File > New.

Or if (like me) you have set your Numbers Preferences to 'For New Documents: Use Template' you must hold down the option key to see the File Menu change 'New' to 'New From Template Chooser'.

Choose My Templates in the left pane of Template Chooser. Those are the templates you can Rename or Delete by right clicking.

Regards,

Ian.
