did not work green light just flashed intermittently but no songs "help I need somebody"

I have some half gigabyte of songs on my Ishuffle but when I connct to PC server cannot be accessed so no songs shown in Library also cannot restore due to same message so I am stumped!

Any help to restore songs on shuffle would be gratefully accepted.
