External Sound On External Monitor?

Hi guys, need some help here 🙂

So, what I'm trying to do is connect my macbook pro 13 inch to a samsung monitor( can be used as tv and monitor). So , it was easy to connect but what i really wanted is to play a game on my macbook and put a video to see on the screen. It worked but is there anywhay to separate the audio? like I want the audio of the video to use the speakers of the monitor and the game sound to use the normal mac speakers. Is it possible? I am connecting them with an VGA adaptor. I don't mind if i would need to buy and hdmi adaptor. Even though I don't want to spend to much money because here in Brazil these kind of things are expensive.
