You can not. All versions of OS X higher than 10.6 require an Intel processor.

Mac OS X

No publicly available Mac is capable of running both 10.3 and 10.6 or above. The maximum OS for a G4 or G5 Mac is Leopard 10.5.8; Leopard may be available at places such as Amazon or eBay.

Since you have a Power PC iMac you cannot upgrade from 10.3 beyond 10.5. Beyond that Mac OS X requires an Intel processor.
