Q: Plugging the APEx to a Bose Lifestyle possible?

Hi,

With the previous Aiport it was easy to connect it to a musicamplifier (using the famous red and white jack).

Is this still the case with this new model?

I have a Bose Lifestyle 5 (quite old, about 10 years), a Mac with all of my music on the disk, and a iPad to use as a remote.

The only thing I would want to buy it for, is to fix those things together, so that I don't have to get up everytime I want to change a song, as my Bose is now connected directley to my iPod Classic...

Hello geertfrombrussels,

It sounds like you are wanting to know what ports are on the latest Airport Express. I found an image of the ports:

You would need to use the Analog/Optical Audio Jack with your speaker system for Airplay to work. I found this on the Airport Express information page:
