When I insert the shuffle into my laptop, there is no icon pops up or anything, nor does it shows up in my iTunes. Any ideas on how this may happen?

So I came across this problem with my shuffle. It's been a while now and I just don't seem to solve it. But the very last time I tried to fix the problem by just randomly pressing the button beside the on-and-off switch button, it worked once. Then I left it like that for about a few weeks, and now it backs to the same problem. Anybody had the same problem? Thanks!!

Hi hudiechris!

I have an article for you here that can troubleshoot that issue for you. While the article is short, it will check one important, often overlooked step on the iPod shuffle:
