Be sure you are using this version of AirPort Utility: AirPort Utility 5.6.1 for Windows

Thanks John - I deleted/unuinstalled the Airport Utility and re-installed - it still gives me the same error even with AU 5,6,1... I appreciate you responding... will uninstall - reset and try again... thanks,,Sharon

Thanks Sharon. The reason AirPort Utility believes your PC is not the Windows version it needs is a mystery. Please post a brand new question in this forum: Windows Compatibility
