Is it possible to add videos to my nano?
iPod nano (7th generation)
Hello, friend. Yes, you can add videos to your iPod Nano. If your video is already in mp4 format, you can drag and drop it into iTunes library. Plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect the iPod automatically, then click iTunes menu "File -> Sync iPod", the mp4 video will be transferred to your iPod. Otherwise, you have to convert the movie to iPod compatible mp4 video, and this step by step guide will show you how to do that. This way works pretty well with my iPod Nano.
They said they didn't get their videos through iTunes and I doubt they waited over 2 years for your answer.
If it's a third through fifth or seventh generation iPod nano, they can be synced from iTunes. On other models, they can be put there when the iPod is in disk mode but not played directly on it.

How do I get the video into my library? I didn't buy it through ITUNES. I just have it on my computer.
Click here for information. It may need to be converted to MPEG-4 with a product such as MPEG Streamclip first.
