So I just got a macbook pro and I want to manage my songs on it instead of the home computer, which is a pc. I do home sharing with my family, and they want to keep the songs on the pc as well. If they buy a song, I want to be able to have it and vice versa. How do I do this? I am using icloud, but I don't know how that works.

If you have iTunes on the PC, then you can use Home Sharing to access the music on the PC. iTunes- Setting up Home Sharing on your computerSetting up Home Sharing for Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation)Troubleshooting Home SharingUnderstanding Home Sharing

You can only sync apps, photos and some other media from one computer/iTunes library. However, you can manually sync music and videos from multiple computer/librairies using the manual method specified here:iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPodIf you want to change syncing computers see:Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities
