Help! I just bought a new macbook pro.....

So I just got a macbook pro and I want to manage my songs on it instead of the home computer, which is a pc. I do home sharing with my family, and they want to keep the songs on the pc as well. If they buy a song, I want to be able to have it and vice versa. How do I do this? I am using icloud, but I don't know how that works.

You can only sync apps, photos and some other media from one computer/iTunes library.

However, you can manually sync music and videos from multiple computer/librairies using the manual method specified here:

iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
