how do i remove a duplicate icon from launchpad

I have updated my FileZilla application, but now I managed to have two icons for the program within launchpad. I have tried to make the wiggle to allow for delete, but since these are not app store purchases there are no x's for deletion. I simply want to remove the duplicate icon, not the program, but prefer to not use some third party program.

I know MACs rock, so .. there msut be a way to remove this unnecessary icon without too much trouble?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Jason

Hmm, from research, it would appear that Launchpad just looks for applications inside your applications folder... If the program works okay from outside the applications folder, Moving the application OUTSIDE of the applications folder will also remove it from the launchpad. I just tried it and it worked fine. But i had t copy and paste the .app file into a new location, and then delete the old one.
