To create an image file, launch Disk Utility and select File: New: Disk Image From Folder. In the window that appears, navigate to the desired folder and then click on Image. Give the image file a name, and click on Save when prompted. That’s it.

Jun 7, 2013 11:43 AM in response to Klaus1by babowa,I did not realize that DU could do that - probably because I've always had and used Toast, but also because DU is unable to author a DVD to be played in a DVD player, so I didn't realize it could copy it so it will play in any DVD player......
