HP printer driver install

HP printer driver install

I updated OSX 10.8 but while installing a network printer, the driver is not available in the driver's list. How can I fix that? Printer is HP Deskjet 4100 Series.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

As far as I can tell, that printer is a USB-only printer. Do you mean you have the printer shared from another Mac?

(HP - and most other manufacturers - has decided to provide USB-only drivers for USB-only printers. This kind of driver only works for network printing through a device - other Mac or Airport router - that has Bonjour built-in.)
