My Ipod randomly went into recovery mode loop. How can I get out of it?

Yesterday my Ipod died. When i went to charge it the only screen that would pop up was the USB cord pointing to Itunes. I have tried tiny umbrella and Ireb unsuccessfully. Any sugestions on how to exit this mode? Or reasons why these downloads wouldn't be working? I do not want to restore because i don't have anything backed up.

*Another question. - My Itunes has stopped opening, how can i get it to open?

Maybe:

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .

Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.

Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
