how to reboot your phone if the power button is broken

I need to reboot my phone to stop receiving the "imap.gmail.com is not responding message. The problem is, my phone's power button is broken. Is there any way to power down or restart the iphone without using that button?

I got a thing when I was doing a check online to see which part I needed to order to fix it myself after my iPhone 5 power button quit on me a few months ago. Apple's site said my model had a hardware issue & is eligible for free repair, I just had to go into an Apple store. I went into the Apple store & they said "oh, you had to claim that before 6 months ago" & I was like "my power button was WORKING 6 months ago, nobody TOLD me I needed to get it fixed BEFORE IT BROKE

"Enable Assistive Touch: Tap SETTINGS, General, Accessibility, AssistiveTouch (near the bottom) and tap AssistiveTouch to ON. You will now notice a small dark square with a circle in the middle (you can move this square anywhere). Tap the dark circle to open the assistiveTouch menu, then tap Device and tap and HOLD the Lock Screen icon. This will bring up the iPhone's Power-Off slider - no need for a power button any longer! **Voted Best Method to turn off an iPhone with a broken power button"
