desktop monthly cleanup
why does my desktop hide my folders every month? I can find the folders but the reason I put them on my desktop is because I want them there. How can I keep my desktop cluttered?

Do you have any third-party cleaning utilities or maintenance tools installed? There are no services built into OS X that will hide, move, or otherwise manage your files on a regular basis. The only one that comes close is Time Machine which will back up your files to an external drive.
