IPhone 5 3 problems.

Hey guys

Ive had my IPhone 5 since the day it came out, so now it had started to have its problems, and more than one. Ive got three:

- brightness turns down automatically to the point I cant see the screen and when I go back to settings the brightness bar is still up to to bright and I just have to touch it for it to come back to normal.

- When I call someone or when someone call me, the place where I should hear them talk back does not work, I have to hear them on the speaker.

- When I charge my phone the lightning connector doesnt have a good connection and cuts out of charging looks like its lose.

Has anyone had one of these problems, and how was it fixed? or when you gave it to Apple, how long did it take to be fixed? or did you get a new IPhone?

Or feel free just to talk about what you think 🙂

If still unresolved, seek a Genius bar appointment for evaluation and possible replacement. You may be handed over a refurbished iPhone 5 as replacement.

Make an appointment at an Apple store to see a Genius. As long as the phone has not been dropped badly, abused or is water damaged they will replace your phone within warranty. They do that there and then so as long as it takes to be in the store really. If they fine the phone has been badly treated or damaged by you in anywya you will be charged for a replacement. If you live in the US and have Applecare+ then I think you are allowed one exchange for accidental damage.

How would they know that the phone has had water damage.

There are water sensors in the phone, one near the battery and one to the top left of the power switch inside the iPhone 5. They can clearly see if water has gone into the phone as these change colour.
