PCI card = ATI Radeon X1600?

Hello, all

Yup, I'm new. I recently purchased an Imac. It's awesome. I'm going through the pains of learning that my "older' software can't play with my new system; at least enough of my older software.

Anyway, I was thinking about upgrading to Final Cut Express 3.0 HD. Since getting my new machine, I've learned to read and re-read the requirements.

The requirements mention that I'll need an AGP or a PCI express card compatible with Quartz Extreme.

Is the ATI Radeon X1600, and a PCI card one-and-the-same? When I look at the specs on my system; check pci cards, I get the message, "This computer does not appear to have any PCI cards installed."

I guess the ultimate question is, do I need to purchase additional hardware to use Final Cut express 3.0 HD?
