How can I convert a dBase IV file to Excel on my MAC computer??

I downloaded the DoxBox program which enables me to use DOS programs such as dBase in my new MAC computer and it does work nicely!!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 6.1.4

Right. That is why you need to use dBase to convert the files you have by exporting them in one of the formats Excel can use. "Export the file to a tab-delimited text file or to a .CSV file. These can be imported by Excel." But, then you said you could not convert them. I took that to mean you could not convert them with dBase.

I do appreciate your experience but, I have tried to export a dBase file from both Mac (using DodBox) and XP machines, files were created as .txt and .csv. I was then hopeful but these files contained data that was not readable by Mac Excel program.


The real problem is how to convert dBase file to Mac Excell that I can work with.
