Battery status versus battery meter and problems
Anyone have issues with this on a generation 4itouch.

Just what problems? The % battery is not accurate on the iPod.
When not plugged in, it shows about 5 points lower than it does connected to wall plug, when it shows critically low (20 %)
And you plug it in, it immediately shows 43 to 45% power. When it is fully charged, it seems to hold power well. The problem occurs at lower power levels (below 40%)
As I said, the % battery is not accurate. If you are concerned all yo can do is make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
i also have this question but on the iphone 4s when my phone is plugged immediatly it goes to 100% on the dot w/ the charger icon in the home screen says the battery is fully green all the way but once i unplug it it immdediatly dies with no apple logo.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
i reset my device and now it tells me to go to itunes but i cant install itunes because im running on Acer Chromebook will anyone help me get itunes installed or teach me how too?😕
You can't install iTunes on a chrome book. Yo have to find someone with a computer and iTunes and an internet connection to restore your iPod. Yu can go to an Apple store if necessary
