Can anyone tell me how, or even if I can I transfer emails from outlook to iphone 5

You don't "transfer them".
The iphone retrieves them from the server just like Outlook does.

go too your email, and get the information for your pop3 or whatever your email uses, if hotmail or yahoo iphone pretty much already has you covered, if not it won't take long to set your iphone up too your email, and it will download it all right to the phone.
should any of this be a bit too much for you go to your service provider and they will be more than happy to assist you in setting your email up on your new iphone.
In fact, I do want to transfer mail from outlok on my computer and not download from POP server
there is no way to do that from outlook too iphone. you can set your email up on the iphone and get on some free wifi and download it, send yourself email by copying the outlook emails and sending them to the same account or whatever acount you are using on the iphone, issue here being is that microsoft is no longer servicing outlook as of a few months ago.. infact i'm not sure that you can even use outlook anymore.

Microsoft is infact still supporting and selling Outlook. Maybe you meant hotmail, if so, state what you mean.
Thanks for the unneeded hate speach, i may have had a brain fart moment for the name of software that was being discontinued, and i was not referring to hotmail. But your lack of moral communication is faltered. I came here to assist where i could and because i made a mistKe your going to be forum police? Why haven't you offered a solution?
