I recently purchased a used MacBook Air, it was restored and all. There are updates for some apps on here on the previous owners account. How can i get it to where it's my account and completely get rid of this account?

If there are applications from the App Store that are associated to another AppleID, you will need to remove them and reinstall under your AppleID to proceed with any future updates.
