reset all settings on ipod touch my music is gone from ipod

perfromed "reset all settings" on ipod touch and now my music is gone from ipod

shows up when i plug to itunes but is greyed out and wont play

I tried to sync to itunes but my music is in a folder in the computer and not in the itunes library so it wont just auto-sync

iPod touch, iOS 5, Ipod 4th Gen

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync all music and resync

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
