I am using iPhone 4 and I want to verify the Internet settings (APN, DNS etc). How can I get this?

This is understood,
my phone was SIM-locked for 2 years, after expiring of my contract I changed the carrier, got an unlock from my old carrier and now I would like to have full access to my seetings.
Did you read the article? Not all carriers support access to APN settings. This has nothing to do whether your phone is SIM locked or unlocked.

If you cannot access settings as outlined in the article, then your carrier will not allow you do modify them. In any case, contact your carrier. Maybe they might be able to help.
