Browsing synchronized pictures using folder names

Hi all. This might be an already covered topic. Sorry for that, I tryed to look for a solution but I haven't found anything so far,

I do have a pretty large pictures archive in my PC, everything is organized in subfolders named as, e.g., "2012-12-XmaxHoliday" or "2012-08-30MyBirthday", etc.

It's something about 5 thousands pictures, 8GB. Once synced into my iPAD everything is flat and it's impossible to find a specific picture. Is there any way (any app?) that syncs pictures keeping the original folder structure?

Are all of those sub-folders directly off the same parent folder ? If they are then you should be able to select their parent folder on the Photos tab when syncing and they should get their own album in the Albums tab in the iPad's Photos app.

Hi Thanks for the answer.

But the levels are not just 2. I setup the sync based on my picture folder. I can then choose the first level sulfolders (e.g. IXUS, EOS, Friends) but I would need at least one more level. In each folder I have thousands of pictures. Unfortunately itunes does not allow to choose sub-subfolders....

The Photos app only works to one level, so any sub-folders will be included in its parent's album. There are photo management apps such as Photo Manager Pro which allow you to have albums with albums, but I'm not sure if any allow you to sync a folder hierarchy in one go - if anybody knows of one then they'll hopefully reply.
