I can see them in the cloud but the download link says "downloaded." I don't have them on my computer because my iTunes library sometimes "gets lost" between my harddrive and my external harddrive. So I lose my music files. It would be nice to be able to grab them from the cloud when this happens, but I can't.
You can already do this if the sougs were purchased though iTuens, or you have iTunes Match. They should have a cloud by them in the Music library view. You can also in the iTunes store under Quick Links click on "Purchased" to download content.
I can see them in the purchased view but I cannot download them. The dowload button lists them as "downloaded." They do not have a cloud by them. I must have downloaded them before, but I cannot locate them any longer on my harddrives.
So do the songs show up in your music library?
The songs show up in my itunes library when I use itunes. I try to play them and they don't play and then I'm prompted to locate them and they don't appear to be anywhere on my computer.

Delete the faulty tracks from your library. You can now go to previous purchases and download again.
