Inbox - email
How can I get my mailbox to default to open in "inbox" as opposed to the folder I was in when I closed mail? Thank you

Welcome to the Support Communities!
As you stated, the Mail application currently opens in the window that you were in when you quit the application. There is currently no way to change that in Mail > Preferences.
However, if you click on Mail > Provide Mail Feedback, your feature request will be reviewed by our Software Engineers. They really do pay attention to our customer's comments.
