Hi, you have to logout from your iTunes account and reconnect it:
Settings / iTunes & App Stores / ...

Thank you dsta. I tried as you suggested. Logged out, logged in, redeemed gift card, all good. Go to App store to update iMovie same response:ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url.
Hi, I'm having the same issue. I had logged out of my app & itunes account on my iphone 5 and when I tried to login again i got the same ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url error. I have rebooted my iphone, shut down all the apps but the error persists. Can you guys please help?
I had the same problem and tried all the solutions given by others with no success. Finally gave up and took the easy way out. Since most of my problems started after installing the latest iTunes, I resorted to uninstalling it (version 11.0.4), deleting the *.itl file from the iTunes folder and installed old version 10.6.3.
No more problems now. Even eBooks purchased which would show inconsistently from iTunes 11 onwards now turns out correct when using the old version.
I have the same problem with my Apple TV.
I am having the same issue, but I had the error message when I was using my Windows PC. I tried everything listed above, and nothing has worked. Now what?
HOLY CRAP!!!!
been going round this issues for hours....tried every fix i could find
phones and most of my pcs worked except 1, my main laptop.
i FIXED IT BY ENABLING GENIUS.!!!!!!!!!!
only on that laptop though.
try it.
i'm so happy right now.
not gonna turn it back off again yet cos while its working im not touching it again!
Had the same issue. several fixes have been sugested this worked for me.
Deauthroize and signout of itunes. Sign in to app store, then sign back in to itunes.
no idea why the conflict but based on the fixes people are sugesting it looks like itunes is stepping on the toes of app store.
Enabling Genius on my iPad 1 worked, thanks!
Got this error on the desktop verson of iTunes when I tried to switch between two accounts. I logged out of everything on the desktop as well as my iPhone, which is sitting on my desk. Then logged everything back in as the second account and got in. Could it be some kind of conflict among devices since they all sync, etc.?
What I did was wait an hour then reopened App Store. In featured at the bottom after hitting redeem instead of typing code I first reviewed terms and conditions. The tab popped up in my browser, i flipped back to app store and it finally stopped with the error message and allowed me to proceed, hope this helps.
Enabling Genius didn't work for me. What did work was a combination of the options above:
- signout from your apple account on the device
- restart your device
- reconnect to your apple account
Regards,
Melvin
After trying everything else to get my itunes account to work on my macbook, and resetting my password on three devices several times (argh!), I enabled Genius and it fixed the problem.
Bizarre, but thanks.
Your method worked for my MBA (turning Genious off and then on)
Yes turning Genius off and then back on seems to solve the problem of receiving this message persistently
