Can someone please help me fix this problem?

Do you have a cracked screen?
If not go ahead and try a two button reset by clicking the home button and the power button at the same time until you see an apple logo appear.
if a reset didn't work - try connecting to iTunes - if it appears in iTunes likely its your screen, if it doesn't appear and you've charged it a long time most likely it's the whole device.
Then you go to apple.com/retail and make that appointment
Most likely you'll need to do it anyways.
Even if the iPhone was out of the warranty period, Apple would have replaced it at a reduced price as an out-of-warranty accidental damage issue. Now that you have opened it up, Apple will not touch it. If you take it to an Apple store genius bar or Authorized Service Provider, all they will do is offer to sell you a new iPhone at full price.
Even if it is out of warranty, opening an iDevice stops all further help and support you might have gotten.
It is broken, make an appointment at an Apple store an dhave it looked at
already tried that and it didn't work. that was the first thing I did.
OK it now charges all I did was disconnect the charging flex cable.
i fixed it with out apples help i just opened it up and unpluged the dock charging cable and pluged it back in and now its fixed for now.
Great, now Apple will not take it back, should it develop another problem in the future and you'd want an out of warranty replacement
it had no warranty in the first place
Dont go for more experiments on that, better to appoach the nearest Apple Store
