Hi Mack,

If Find My iPhone can’t locate your device, the last known location is displayed for up to 24 hours on the map, after which the map is cleared. You can select the Notify Me When Found checkbox to receive an email when the device comes back online with a location.

Hi stevo,

Go to iCloud.com and open the Find My iPhone app. Under All Devices, you should see your offline device - click on the Offline Device.

It will take you to a screen for that device with the option:

My computer doesn't show checkbox Notify Me when Found. Please help? Thanks in advance
