ATV restricted while Mirroring

Hi Forum,

Can someone help me with where my network might be restricted?!?!

I use ATV mirroring from Mac Mini to ATV. I use my MBP as the remote screen for my Mini. So when i am also mirroring the Mac Mini Screen to my MBP to set up the operation, everything grinds to a halt.

Am i asking the network to do too much?

or is the Internet not able top cope? i don't think so as the Internet is only streaming content to the Mini which is hardwired to the network.

is the Mini straining? having to mirror out to 2 items? If it is this, how do i tell? Is it page outs in memory?

Any help greatly appreciated.
